With smaller dogs and puppies even a toilet roll inner cardboard tube is a toy, if you make them sit for it they will be please with their new prize possession, a gift from a human! A ball of unwanted socks stuffed inside out can be great fun as a soft plaything. Puppies love to climb, so a cardboard box with holes cut out can be a brain challenging climbing frame. An old ball of wool makes my dog go frantic with excitement as she tries to kill the tangled mess. Sticks and small logs can also be hours of fascination.
